This playground complements a neighbouring toddler play area we also completed in the same zone, which includes a toddler ship, creating a more accurate response for different age groups within one wider play environment. Because the playground is located close to the sea and exposed to humid air, stainless steel swings were also integrated as a practical solution for a marine setting, offering long-term durability without rust. The result is a seaside playground that brings together location-based design, age-specific planning, and materials suited to coastal use.
Seaside Playground Design
Spring playgrounds designed and delivered a playground for children, planned to suit the distinct character of its coastal surroundings. The selection of play equipment was guided by a clear maritime inspiration, including a large ship structure and a fish-themed spring rider that relate naturally to the seafront setting, the atmosphere, and the nearby shoreline.
