Robinia Wood Playground Project

About the Project and the Process

The goal was to create an inviting outdoor play space that feels connected to its surroundings. Robinia wood was selected to bring a natural character and a strong, timeless presence, while the overall plan keeps movement between play zones simple and enjoyable.

Highlights of the Project

  • A public playground designed for frequent use
  • Clear focus on robinia wood play equipment and a natural atmosphere
  • Variety of play experiences: climbing, moving between levels, sliding, swinging, and imaginative play
  • A fun and easy to navigate space for families and young visitors

The planning shaped a smooth flow across the site: a central multi level structure, a dedicated swing area, and additional elements that spread activity throughout the playground. The aim was to keep the experience varied, balanced, and intuitive.

Robinia wood creates a natural foundation, complemented by cheerful colour accents. The rope bridge adds a light adventure feel, the slides bring dynamic movement, and the playhouse offers a quieter corner for role play. A public space that invites exploration, movement, and shared outdoor time.
