The choice of materials is not just about appearance — it stems from professional insight into on-site needs, local climate conditions, and the intensive use typical of public spaces.

 

We choose to work only with materials that have proven themselves — both in rigorous safety testing and in real-world conditions — to ensure that every user enjoys a high-quality, safe, and enjoyable play experience, day after day, year after year.

 

 

 

Technical Specs and Color Options

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a recycled material made from high-density polyethylene, produced from recycled materials that allows for further recycling. It excels in resistance to UV rays and wear and tear, making it particularly suitable for use in outdoor playground equipment. Its touch is smooth and pleasant, and its appearance is maintained over time. The advantages include high resistance to harsh weather conditions and environmental preservation. The material is capable of absorbing high energy, which helps prevent fractures.

HPL panels are high-pressure laminate boards produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin. These panels offer high resistance to abrasion, scratches, and chemical impacts, maintaining their quality in both outdoor and indoor conditions. Available in a variety of colors and textures, HPL panels are used for surfaces, walls, and furniture in playground equipment, providing an aesthetic appearance and requiring low maintenance.

Colored polycarbonate is a durable, lightweight, and transparent thermoplastic polymer that complies with international standards such as EN 71 and ISO 179. It has a smooth touch, a glossy appearance, and is available in a variety of colors and transparencies. The material is used to create decorative elements in playground equipment, offering high impact resistance, UV protection, and great design flexibility

European Robinia wood is natural, robust, and durable, particularly suitable for use in outdoor playground equipment. It complies with stringent standards such as FSC, has a smooth and pleasant touch, a natural and authentic appearance, and integrates well with natural surroundings. Its high durability, long lifespan, and being a natural and safe material make it a popular choice for use in playground equipment.

Steel structure that is strong and durable, oven-painted galvanized and coated with lead-free polyester powder for corrosion and rust resistance. It meets strict playground equipment standards such as ASTM A240 and EN 10088, ensuring high quality and safety. The steel is anti-vandalistic, requires minimal maintenance, and is fully recyclable. The high-quality paint ensures weather resistance and maintains a new appearance over time.

Stainless Steel 316 is an alloy of iron, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, providing exceptional resistance to corrosion, rust, and stains. It meets strict playground equipment standards such as ASTM A240 and EN 10088, offering a smooth touch and shiny appearance. Particularly suitable for use in coastal and humid areas, and industrial and urban environments. Even in these challenging areas, Stainless Steel 316 maintains a clean and shiny appearance over  time.

Rope Cables are made of synthetic polypropylene (PP) fibers combined with a galvanized steel core for improved strength and durability. They meet strict standards, such as ASTM A240 and EN 10088, ensuring durability and safety for use in playground equipment.

. The cables offer a soft and pleasant touch that does not harm the hands during use and are available in various diameters and colors, allowing for creative and aesthetic design.

Raw Material

Raw material made of high compressibility polyethylene, which gives the fabric strength and stability over years.

 

Weaving and Strength

Unique Weaving in Monofilament: This weaving form prevents the fabric from unraveling even in the case of a tear.

 

Fabric tensile strength: N800 and N1800

The tests are performed according to the ASTM 5034D standard.

 

The fabric tearing force is N800 and N200

The tests are performed according to the ASTM 1424D standard.

 

Weight and Durability

Weight of material: Minimum 320 grams per square meter.

 

Lifespan: Minimum 10 years in sun exposure, from wear and tear from U.V. radiation.

 

Minimum temperature: -25°C (-13°F)

Maximum temperature: 80°C (176°F)

 

Minimum thickness: 1.3 mm according to ASTM standard 1777.

 

Shading efficiency: Minimum 90%–93%

U.V filters: Minimum 92%–98%

 

Stitching and Threads

The stitching is done with a two-needle machine, double stitching, and is closed with a monofilament stitch – thickness D600.

 

The sewing thread is made of the same raw material as the fabric, which gives the thread lifespan, flexibility, and stability over the years, like the fabric.

 

The fabric parts are connected together vertically or horizontally, by professional, straight, and even stitching.

 

Edge and Cables

The edge of the fabric is folded to form a sleeve in which we insert an 8 mm (0.315 inch) thick stainless steel cable, reinforced by PE sheeting.

 

The ends of the steel cables are connected to the frame with the help of connectors and stretching accessories – M10, M12.

 

All connectors are galvanized and protected from corrosion.

 

Frame and Poles

All shade frames are made from steel pipes.

 

The diameter of the poles is adjusted to the size of the shade and to withstand the forces and loads exerted on it.

 

The thickness of the poles is according to the constructor's instructions.

 

The height of the shade is in accordance with the area intended for shading.

 

All parts of the frame are galvanized.

 

Maintenance Note

The shading fabric should be dismantled in the winter according to an engineer's requirement.
